These simple fruit and granola parfaits are the perfect kick-start to any day. With ingredients on hand, you can make yourself a healthy and super satisfying breakfast. My favorite part about making parfaits is that
You can be extremely creative!
Put whatever kind of fruit you like, or that you have on-hand at the time, add or omit granola of your choice, and you can even swap out the flavors of yogurt that you like! This recipe calls for a little drizzle of honey, omit it if you like, it just adds an extra hint of sweetness.
Interestingly enough, one of my go-to breakfasts use to be the parfait from McDonalds! If you know anything about it- it's super simple, and has very similar ingredients. At just 210 calories, it's a sure fire way to get breakfast in without the guilt of heavy food. Even more, if you search the web, or even pinterest for parfait, you will get MILLIONS of results with different variations.
That's how wildly popular this breakfast recipe is. One of my favorites out there is this easy peach parfait by The Mean Green Chef! She takes decadent ingredients and creates a masterpiece of a parfait, and just look at the beauty of the photo! This recipe is all about being creative, and using ingredients you already have on hand.
So even though this is a super easy recipe to make, it makes perfect sense to highlight it here- because we're all about balance when it comes to eating!
