Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Sandwiches made with pulled chicken breast. Smothered in creamy BBQ sauce and cheese, then sandwiched between a buttery brioche roll.
Place the chicken breast in the slow cooker. Season liberally with the seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Be sure to coat both sides of each chicken breast evenly with seasoning.
Mix the barbecue sauce and water together in a separate bowl. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Place lid on and set to high for 4 hours, or low for 5-6 hours.
Once the chicken is ready, shred it apart using two forks. Lightly toast the brioche rolls if desired. Spread about 1 tablespoon of mayo on each roll.
Next, spoon 1/4 cup of the bbq chicken mixture on top, and sprinkle a handful of cheddar cheese over it.
Optional toppings can be placed on the sandwiches when serving.
