Instructions
Chicken:
Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. In the meantime, season chicken liberally with all of the seasonings, ensuring to coat evenly.
Toss wings in flour mixture to coat evenly. Gently place wings in hot oil careful not to overcrowd pan.t.
Fry the wings on each side for 7 minutes, remove and drain on a rack or paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Let the wings sit for 5 minutes for breading to settle.
Waffles:
Combine waffle mix according to package instructions. Add egg, cocoa powder, vanilla, and red food coloring. Mix well.
Cook waffles in the waffle maker. Sprinkle the waffles with powder sugar.
Eat the red velvet waffles with syrup and fried chicken.
