No Churn Cookie Monster Ice Cream Recipe

Cookie Monster Ice Cream is a vibrant blue, homemade no churn dessert loaded with Oreos and chocolate chip cookies. This easy recipe has a creamy vanilla base and comes together without an ice cream maker for the ultimate Sesame Street-inspired treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream very cold
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 -1 1/2 teaspoons Blue food coloring
  • 1 14 ounce can Sweetened Condensed milk
  • 15 Chocolate chip cookies Chips Ahoy
  • 15 Chocolate sandwich cookies Oreos

Instructions

  • Add the heavy whipping cream, food coloring, and vanilla extract into a large bowl, or bowl of a stand mixer. Whip on high until stiff peaks form. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes of constant whisking.
  • Add in more blue food coloring until you get your desired shade of blue. After stiff peaks are formed, pour in the sweetened condensed milk, and fold it into the cream until it is fully combined.
  • Place the chips ahoy and oreos to a large Ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into small pieces.
  • Mix most of the cookie pieces into the ice cream mixture (reserving some to sprinkle on top).
  • Pour the cookie monster ice cream into a loaf pan and top with the remaining cookie pieces.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 5 hours. Enjoy!

Notes

Use a whisk in place of a stand mixer or hand mixer.
