Loaded Jalapeño Poppers

Jalapeño poppers loaded with a creamy cheese mixture and wrapped in bacon. Perfect snack or side dish for your next cookout.

Ingredients

  • 6 Japenos cut in half lengthwise, seeds and veins removed
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 6 slices Bacon cut in half
  • 1/2 cup Green onion chopped

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the peppers. Cut the stems off of each one and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and veins from each half.
  • Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and green onions in a large bowl. Add all of the seasonings and mix well.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half until full, but careful not to overfill.
  • Wrap each jalapeño half with bacon, tucking the corners into each other so that they do not come loose.
  • Cook in the oven on 350° for 20 mins or until bacon is cooked thoroughly cooked.
  • Or, place the poppers on the grill until the bacon is cooked. About 20 minutes depending on the temperature.
