Cheesy Quesadillas with Ground Beef

Cheesy quesadillas with ground beef are about to be on repeat in your house! Made with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and a simple creamy taco sauce, this recipe is crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
  • Splash of water
  • 6 medium Flour tortillas
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Butter separated to brown quesadillas

Creamy Taco Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2-3 tablespoons Taco sauce

Instructions

  • Cook your ground beef in a skillet until there is no more pink, break it up with a spatula as you cook it. Drain any excess grease.
  • Sprinkle in your taco seasoning and a splash of water (about a tablespoon), then simmer the ground beef for 1-2 minutes..
  • Mix the sour cream and taco sauce in a bowl and set it aside.
  • Heat a little bit of butter in a skillet and place one tortilla down.
  • Add some of the shredded cheese to one side of the tortilla, top it with 1/4 cup of ground beef, drizzle some of the sauce, and sprinkle on a little more shredded cheese.
  • Fold the tortilla over, and cook it until golden and crispy on both sides, and th cheese is melted.
  • Slice and serve them warm with some of the extra sauce.
