This amazing homemade guacamole recipe is loaded with flavors of traditional Mexican guacamole. Ripe avocados and other ingredients create the perfect chunky guacamole for tacos, toast, or just a dip.
Use a knife to cut avocado in half lengthwise. Cut all the way to the seed. Pull the two halves apart and remove the large seed.
Next, score the avocado into large chunks using a knife (see photo). Using a spoon, remove the avocado chunks from the skin and put them in a large bowl
Using a fork, mash avocado to desired consistency. Once avocado is mashed, add the onions, cilantro, jalapeno, and seasoning and mix well.
Now add the tomato and cilantro and gently stir it to combine- try not to crush the tomato!
Use right away, or cover and refrigerate for 3-5 days.
Notes
Use as much or as little of the jalapeno as you like, depending on how spicy you like it!
