Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Avocados mashed
  • 1 Roma tomato diced
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper diced
  • ¼ cup Cilantro chopped
  • ¼ Red onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lime juice

Seasoning (to taste)

Instructions

  • Use a knife to cut avocado in half lengthwise. Cut all the way to the seed. Pull the two halves apart and remove the large seed.
  • Next, score the avocado into large chunks using a knife (see photo). Using a spoon, remove the avocado chunks from the skin and put them in a large bowl
  • Using a fork, mash avocado to desired consistency. Once avocado is mashed, add the onions, cilantro, jalapeno, and seasoning and mix well.
  • Now add the tomato and cilantro and gently stir it to combine- try not to crush the tomato!
  • Use right away, or cover and refrigerate for 3-5 days.

Notes

Use as much or as little of the jalapeno as you like, depending on how spicy you like it!
