Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil divided
  • 4 cups Broccoli fresh, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cup Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 rope Beef smoked sausage cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 2 cups Shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil to coat shrimp
  • 2 teaspoons All purpose seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce plus more for serving

Instructions

  • Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to a skillet over medium heat and let it heat up for 1-2 minutes. Once the oil is hot, add the broccoli and onions to the skillet and cover with a lid. Allow the broccoli to steam for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • While the broccoli and onions are steaming, cut the sausage into about 1/2 inch to 1 inch slices and set it aside.
  • Place your shrimp in a bowl and coat it with olive oil, then sprinkle in all of your seasonings including the all purpose seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Coat all of the shrimp evenly in the seasoning, then set this aside.
  • Remove the broccoli and onions from the skillet. Add the other reserved tablespoon of olive oil into the skillet, then add in the smoked sausage and fry the smoked sausage until they are browned on both sides, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Push the sausage to one side of the skillet, and add in the shrimp to the empty side. Fry the shrimp for about 1-2 minutes, then add the broccoli and onions back into the skillet.
  • Mix everything together and add in the sweet chili sauce. Stir-fry the shrimp sausage and broccoli until everything is well combined. Enjoy as is, or serve over rice.
