These Toffee Cookies have a saltine cracker base, a layer of toffee, topped with pralines. This salty snack has a mouthwatering buttery crunch that makes it perfect for sharing during the holidays or whenever cravings strike.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper and layers out in one layer.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the brown sugar, stir the sugar into the butter until it is completely dissolved.
Allow the butter mixture to simmer and come to a light boil. Stir occasionally so that the caramel mixture does not stick to the saucepan.
Core the caramel mixture over the crackers and spread it out evenly using a spatula. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and toffee bits all over the crackers
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for eight minutes. Remove it from the oven and allow the crackers to cool down and break them apart and enjoy!
